Soar A.T. Team One: (BY:ANNA) Our first backpacking/canoeing expedition!!:D

Hello. This is my blog. I will write about my adventure. First off, right now we are having girl time with Peter in the girls cabin. He keeps bringing up the fact that Katy has a lady product. Natalie and I said we have some too, just to back Katy up. So he asked us to see some. LOL. Anyway, when we were at an island on our canoe expedition, Moira lost our camera in the HUGE lake. She had everyone looking for it and we couldn’t walk in the water because dirt would go everywhere and she wouldn’t be able to see it. We looked for hours and finally just gave up. It was hysterical. Then Garrett found a “fishing lure” in the water, but it was actually a USED lady product. LOL. Then he started arguing with Katy about whether or not she was right. It was great. After all of that, we went canoeing. I got paired up with Moira. We got tired of paddling and she found a trash bag. She made it into a sail. We called it the “hobo sail boat”. It was pretty funny.

We had our ups and our downs but I have to say the best memory was when I twisted my ankle. Moira and I were backpacking and we got left behind because my hiking boots were cutting up my feet because they were too small. She went to go find the others and left me by myself, and I tripped when I had to get up and use the tree… and I twisted my ankle. Then Natalie accidentally dropped my boot down some huge hill and Moira had to play “hide and seek” with my shoe. Katy, Natalie, and I were chewing gum at the gas station and we told Poole that Katy stole the gum. She said “no dude” and we went back and forth. It was awesome. On the way to the Chinese Buffet, Peter, Natalie, Josh, and I were in the van partying to music. It was an amazing day!
