I am having an o.k. time here at SOAR. I like that we go on expeditions, like going on Lake Fontana and fishing was also fun on Lake Fontana and the rivers. I like that I am losing weight here at SOAR. I think it is from working out and not eating as much as I do at home.
I am from around Monterrey, California. If you have heard of Laguna Seca, my house is really close to there. My family is really nice. I took them for granted and I miss them very much.
One of my goals is to get stronger and not be fat like I am now. I want to be able to write without being frustrated in school.

One of my favorite memories from this summer was spending time with you and riding bikes in your driveway. You are such an awesome guy! Jason says "hi" too and that you forgot to say that you're a hippy. (: He's just playing! We love you and can't wait to hear more about your time at SOAR. Have a great time and learn lots.

Hi Josh! This is uncle Larry! It is so cool to hear from you! I am glad you are enjoying SOAR. It sounds so amazing the things you are able to do! You will have to teach me some of the survival skills you have learned when I see you again. I like all the things that you like to do except write on my body with permanent marker! What's that all about? You make me laugh! I can tell you have lost weight. You look so much thinner in your picture. I am SO proud of you! Luv Ya lots!
